Shot on the Canon 5D MKII then edited in Final Cut Pro.
Footage was treated in two ways.
1. For interview shots with sync sound – footage was first transcoded to ProRes 422 then converted from 30fps to 25 fps using Compressor.
2. For all overlay footage/non sync footage – footage was first transcoded to ProRes 422 then the timecode base was changed from 30 fps to 25 fps using Cinema Tools. This gave the footage the appearance of being slightly in slow motion but not greatly.

It was easier to treat the footage like this in two ways as the time consuming part was the converting from 30 to 25 fps (for PAL, Australian TV). Compressor has several ways to handle the footage. For our purposes and because there was not a lot of moving footage to sync, we went with a more basic conversion which was quicker than a more exact conversion which would have taken a lot longer.
