When I said I needed a change of scenery I wasn’t kidding! Just pack up your life, sell your things, break the lease on the great apartment, say goodbye to your loved ones and move to the Middle East!

Obviously not about the money, or the ease of language and bureaucracy you encounter dealing with every aspect of living, but about the experience, the people, the food, the culture, the spirit. And to help make the world a better place I’ve arrived! Camera and editing app in hand I shall roam the land in search of wonderful stories to take and share with the world.

For the next few months I’ll be based in Jerusalem, studying hebrew at Ulpan Etzion. It snowed the day after I arrived. I’ve seen snow only once before. I was skiing in Australia. Despite the average food served to us on campus we are close to good felafel, shwarma and cheap beer. Life is good.
